ABOUT ME
ArtyPax is the creation of wildlife biologist and artist Rachel J. My goal is to inspire & spark your creativity whilst celebrating & enjoying the wonders of the natural world.

I've always had a passion for anything crafty & creative. So much so that after graduating in Cambridge with a BSc (Hons) Wildlife Biology degree I decided to return to that passion, combine it with my nature knowledge & created ArtyPax.
After discovering that the paint your own ceramic kit market is saturated with items that are generic, imported and limited in variation, I set out to specialise in creating, sourcing and offering a more bespoke range of ceramics & artwork focusing on nature & wildlife.
I also decided to use only the best quality products, one of which is Bisque ceramic. Using this type of ceramic also helps support the traditional independent British pottery trade, by selecting quality, hand cast ceramics from the heart of the potteries itself, Stoke-On-Trent, wherever possible. Head over to a page I built especially for learning more about my ceramics & how bisque ceramic is made.
To top it off, what really sets ArtyPax apart is the fact that all of my kits are kiln free. Paint and go! No kiln firing required. Simply paint your masterpiece, allow to dry & admire your handiwork instantly. Perfect for any & all levels of creativity.

As you can tell I care a lot about our crafty planet.
Therefore I'm committed to leading the craft & creative industry in minimising the impact of its activities on the environment.
